A 21-year-old model and aspiring singer from Detroit is accused of stabbing a gas station worker during a robbery.

Skyy Raven Marie Mims was charged with murder and armed robbery in the killing of Dahyabhai Chaudhari, a 37-year-old gas station clerk in Dalton, Georgia, on Sunday night, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Mims, whose last known address is in Detroit, was captured Tuesday at a home in Bartow County, Georgia, after trying to run from police. She had driven a Kia Soul that was reported stolen from Michigan.

Mims has released several mixtapes under the moniker, “Yo Skyy” and appeared in a fashion show in Detroit five months ago, Deadline Detroit reports. On her personal website, she describes herself as a “rapper, songwriter, producer, model, artist, Lover, and motivator.” She was reportedly heading to Atlanta for an audition.

Surveillance footage shows a woman wearing a hooded jacket and gloves — later identified as Mims — entering the store late Sunday night. According to the Daily Mail, a customer recalled hearing the clerk and Mims argue before falling silent. A customer later found the store clerk dead on the floor, with stab wounds in his back. According to WRCB, his mouth and eyes were duct-taped shut. Reports say that cash and lottery tickets were stolen from the gas station.

Still, many questions remain unanswered about why the aspiring singer and model, who also went by the name “Gorgiee,” would take the life of a man she likely had never met. It isn’t known how Mims was identified by police as a suspect or why she stopped at the gas station, located four miles away from the I-75 interstate. A few short hours after the murder allegedly occurred, Mims Tweeted a single word to followers on her social media accounts: “knowledge.”

Chaudhari was remembered as a friendly man who called all of his regulars “Buddy,” the Journal-Constitution said. Although he did not have family in the area, he was well-known and liked by customers.

The one person who may be able to shed some light on the motivation behind Chaudhari’s death spoke only a few words during her court hearing before a Georgia magistrate on Wednesday. Mims’ scheduled bond hearing Friday was cancelled. She is currently being held without bond in Georgia.
