Since Bobbi Kristina has been moved to hospice care (see here) last week, her boyfriend Nick Gordon has come under some intense scrutiny from her family. The Houston’s reportedly have filed criminal domestic abuse charges against Gordon, as well as claims saying that he stole $10,000 from Houston.
People reports that Gordon is holed up in an Orlando-area home, watching TV and checking the Internet for any information on Brown’s condition, as well as any further legal developments.
“He feels – and we all feel – like Nick has been a scapegoat in this case,” a close relative of Gordon’s tells PEOPLE. “It’s scary for him, because he hasn’t done anything wrong. He is completely innocent.”
“He has always cooperated with police, and he has nothing to hide,” the relative continues. “Anyone who looks at the facts would see that.”
On Thursday, the Fulton County district attorney confirmed that his office is reviewing the Jan. 31 incident that left Brown incapacitated.
“We will be reviewing the case with greater interest,” Fulton County District Attorney Paul L. Howard Jr. told PEOPLE in a statement.
The relative says that Gordon is holding up as well as can be expected. “It’s a stressful time for him,” says the relative. “He’s not doing too well, but he’s being as strong as he can.”
