According to TMZ Sports, UFC Star Thiago Silva, 31, was arrested for attempted murder after accusing his wife of an affair and shoving a gun in her mouth. However, the judge declined the attempted murder charges against Silva, because there was not enough. The judge stated,
Instead, Silva was charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a firearm and decided to hold him in custody without bond.
Thaigo’s wife Thaysa has told law enforcements that he has a “drug problem” and has been abused for some months. Back in January Thaysa filed a restraining order against her husband where she checked off one of the boxes that said “drug problem” She also, claimed that she fears for her well being after Thaigo got violent with her a couple of times. The restraining order was granted, however, Thiago disregarded those orders after going to a martial arts studio and threatening to shoot her last night.
The Brazilian Fighter was expected to fight at UFC 171 in March.
